Strava City Ride Club

The Mumu {City} Ride Club focuses on local riders, fostering community growth through organized events and friendly challenges. It empowers ambassadors to lead and inspire their neighborhood's cycling culture.

Create your city club

  • Club Creation - Start your journey by creating a Strava club tailored for your local community, ensuring a welcoming space for cyclists to connect and share their passion for riding.
  • Club Description - Write a brief yet engaging description for your club that includes meeting points and goals, allowing potential members to understand the purpose and culture of your cycling community.
  • Naming Format - Use a consistent naming convention like Mumu {City} Ride Club to enhance discoverability and clarity for riders looking to join their local cycling group on Strava.
  • Promotion - Actively promote your Strava club by sharing the link across social media platforms, community boards, and local events to attract new members and grow your riding community.

Publish rides on Strava

  • Title Format - Use a consistent title format for your rides, such as Mumu {City} Ride. This makes events easily identifiable for participants and encourages stronger community engagement.
  • Date & Time - Clearly state the date and time of each ride in your event details. This helps riders plan accordingly and increases attendance at your community events.
  • Route & Pace - Include specifics about the route and expected pace in your ride description. This information prepares riders for the event and ensures everyone is on the same page.
  • Encourage Recording - Motivate participants to record their rides on Strava, which fosters engagement and allows for accurate tracking of performance and participation in the Mumu community.
  • Ride Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk - Mumu and {Organizer Name} assume no responsibility or liability for any incident, injury, loss, or damage that may occur during or in connection with this ride. By participating, you acknowledge that cycling involves inherent risks and you voluntarily assume all risks and responsibilities. All weekday, weekend, pre-holiday, and holiday rides are non-sanctioned and are not supervised by Mumu. Please arrive a few minutes early for pre-ride announcements, a safety briefing, and information about regrouping stops.

Ambassador rewards

  • Growth Credit - Every 3 months, ambassadors earn $5 in mumuapparel.com store credit for each verified dual-member. This reward recognizes community growth and motivates ambassadors to stay actively engaged with their riders.
  • Dual Membership - To qualify for rewards, members must join both the Mumu Ride Club and their respective City Ride Club. This ensures accurate tracking and community engagement across the board.
  • Simple Onboarding - Ambassadors can increase dual membership by sharing club links and promoting community rides effectively. Clear communication fosters growth and strengthens connections within the cycling community.
